Have you ever tried a fresh-cooked noodles, rich, savory broth, with a perfect amount of spice - added with a soft pork and salted egg on the side? Ichiran will probably satisfy your mouthwatering cravings of Ramen!
In Japan, you will get to know if a restaurant is popular and quite interesting when you see a line of customers patiently waiting for their turn. That means the food is insanely delicious!
Ichiran specializes in tonkotsu ramen, which is a pork-based broth. They make their own flour-based noodles and their own special red spicy powder.
When you enter any Ichiran, your first stop is to get a ticket. There aren’t many options.
You can add extra pork, salted egg, nori and so on. You can also add extra noodles if you want. (Say YES! to extra noodles - haha!)
After you get your ticket for what you’ve ordered you’re handed a piece of paper. You get to customize the ramen to be exactly how you like it. You can choose a richer broth with a hard noodles.
If you want it to be spicy, it's all up to you. Your ramen, your choice! And that's Ichiran!
In most Ichiran’s you sit in your own little booth. Most can collapse the little dividers if you’re with friends. You hand over your instructions and tickets, and a few minutes later your given your soup of awesomeness. At most locations you also have a tap for water, and tissues are easily reachable from dispensers on the wall behind you.
All in all the experience was superb! Try it with your friends or family and share your Ichiran Ramen experience!
