Osaka Bay Area
Osaka Bay is a waterfront area, with shopping malls and gourmet restaurants everywhere. It is an area that has become increasingly popular with young people.
The seaside promenade is lined with palm trees. It is the location for the ATC (Asian Trade Center), which owns a wide range of shops, restaurants and entertainment facilities. The trade center is the most popular place in Osaka Bay. The Osaka World Trade Center Building, also known as the Cosmopolitan Tower, has a 360-degree observatory, which provides a panoramic view of Osaka City.
Osaka Bay is also famous, amongst lovers, for the Tempozan Ferris Wheel. From the wheel, you can overlook the nearby sea museum and surrounding seascape. You can also take in a panoramic view of Kansai International Airport and Kobe Rokko Hill in the distance.
For families with children, the Tempozan Sea Cruise in Osaka Bay is a great option. Fifteen large tanks host nearly 3 million species of marine life, reproducing the natural environment of the Pacific Rim volcanic belt. You might even spot a giant whale shark!
