If you're going for comiket I suggest going in winter. The amount of people will make it super hot. Obey the lines and try to figure out where you're going before you start walking, it's a long walk. Unless you're buying doujin stick outside with the cosplay. It's less crowded and way more fun... Unless your idea of fun is getting really really personal with strangers. PLEASE never take photos of cosplay that's not in the separated area. There's no room and they are just trying to get food or rest!
Right now the unicorn gundam is up. It's just as impressive in day as at night. Also this is right outside of a mall so if you're traveling with non nerdy types they'll have stuff to do!
This shop is a little more girl oriented than others. If you like popular anime/ etc then you'll find plenty of official merch here, even for rare chars!
Really great prices. Really great condition of items. If you aren't an enormous nerd however, this probably isn't the place for you. Also: there are entire nsfw floors! If you're bringing little ones be sure you know what you're doing. This place is more for locals than tourism.
There are several places to get shots of the crossing, I suggest the Starbucks but note: it's crowded with people with similar ideas!
Very crowded on Sunday! If you want to take a picture be fast and be ready, it's honor system
Come by at night to see everything light up! New Year's and other festivals have delicious traditional fair food. You can really fill up!
The mochi here are the smoothest and freshest I've ever tasted. The flavors are interesting too. My friend loved the yuzu, and she's not an adventurous eater.
Save a whole day for this park! It's huge, and the zoo is really fun. If you play Pokemon go you can easily fly though several hours without noticing. Great food nearby too
