Statue of Sakamoto Ryoma in Kazagashira Park 風頭公園内坂本龍馬像

Located close to the Kameyama Shachu Museum, this statue commemorates Sakamoto Ryoma, a prominent figure in the movement to overthrow the Tokugawa shogunate between 1853 and 1867. The statue was built in 1989 using funds donated from all over Japan. The park's observation platform boasts a view of Nagasaki Harbor.
