Johnny's Shop (Harajuku) ジャニーズショップ 原宿店

This shop caters to fans of Japanese boy bands, idols and actors, and sells merchandise and concert goods. Johnny's is a talent agency that represents several Japanese celebrities, such as the J-pop bands Arashi, Tokio, and Smap, who have also become famous abroad.

I believe this place only sells pictures and some goods like bags and pen lights. Since it's an official shop, it did take quite a while to even pay for the pictures. For me, I spent around 30 minutes standing in line to give my order, but luckily they played a bunch of songs from Johnny's so I was able to enjoy the wait. If you are looking for posters, CDs, or DVDs, I really recommend going to one of the unofficial Johnny's shops along Takeshita Street. Even for photos, I recommend those other shops because they'd be cheaper.

They only accept cash for the official Johnny's store, so please prepare more cash on hand.
As for the rest that Maggie Tomato mentioned, those are called paparazzi stores where they sell "non-official" photos which are called papa photos in short as they are not being released by Johnny's. Those papa photos tend to be more "off shot" photos of idols not only from Johnny's, but also other groups, stage show, actors/actresses etc. Some of these stores do accept credit card, however, it will be good that you still bring extra cash just in case.

Johnny's shop is a must-go for any Johnny's lovers!! (Like me)

At Johnny's shop, you can find many interesting idol goods, such as photos, banners and other merchandise.

There are several Johnny's shop along Takeshita Dori in Harajuku. They do not have very obvious entrances (meaning big signs and logos), but as long as you look out for Johnny's idol pictures you will find the shop(s) for sure!!! (The entrances are decorated by idol posters, even the stairs!!)

When I went to Japan earlier this year, I bought one (recent) shop photo. It was 200 yen. The older photos are usually cheaper, around 80 yen.

P.S. The shops can be quite crowed. Lots of girls.
