Mitsukoshi is Japan's oldest surviving department store chain (1673) and has everything from French food to Japanese kimonos. If you arrive at the opening time of 10:30am you will be greeted by staff standing at attention at their posts and bowing. Well worth a visit for all the atmosphere, and the multiple floors which is without a doubt a shoppers paradise.
