The Nijubashi Bridge (Double Bridge) is one of two bridges crossing the moat to the East Plaza of the Imperial Palace. As with the Imperial Palace, the bridge is usually off-limits to the public except on New Years Day (Jan 2) and the current Emperor's Birthday (Dec 23).
