This 176-acre fantasy theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort is located just outside Tokyo in Urayasu, Chiba. It first opened its door in 2001. In 2013, it attracted an estimated 14 million visitors, making it the fourth-most-visited theme park in the world. Disney Sea consists of seven themed areas or "ports of call", including Mysterious Island, Mermaid Lagoon, American Waterfront and Arabian Coast.

For Muslim travellers, don't worry about food. There's salmon or shrimp option at every restaurant.

I visited in early October on a weekday. It was still fairly crowded but not unpleasantly so. The whole park is absolutely gorgeous. I'm not a fan of rides so while my friends were on attractions, I just wandered around. Still had a blast! Don't forget to bring sunscreen, even in October.

Besides nabbing Fastpass for Toystory and Tower of Terror, go hunting for yummy cute snacks in different themed ports! Nothing beats having ice-cream especially during a hot day (if you are visiting DisneySea during 夏). Try Mickey's Tiramisu Ice Cream sandwich and if you are up for something different, try Sea Salt Ice Cream Monaka. Next, search for Seaside Snacks cart in Port Discovery, grab the "Eukiwa Buns" which essentially are shrimp buns. They are pipping hot and flavourful, perfect when energy level is low and if you are caught in the rain. And if you are still wanting more buns, then go to Sultan Oasis's for The Chandu Tail, a tiger tail shaped steamed chicken cream bun. Let me know which one is your fav!
