Nearby the station there is a great spot for viewing cherry blossoms called the "Keage incline"
You can enjoy walking along beautiful rows of cherry blossom trees on both sides of the railroad tracks and it's a photogenic place !
The Keage Incline is a slope with railroad tracks that extends 582 meters and is located near the Nanzen-ji Temple in Higashiyama.

How to get there ?

It is about 3-minute walk from exit #1 of the Keage Station on the Tozai Line of the Kyoto City Subway.
