Ninomaru Garden 二の丸庭園
One of the gardens in the Tokyo Imperial Palace, this Japanese-style garden plays a significant role in Japanese history. The garden stands on where the Edo Castle's innermost circles of defense were once located. Remains of the castle, including moats, gate, walls and guardhouses can still be seen today. This garden is one of the few that are open to the general public, free of charge.
