There is no shortage of British-style pubs spread out across Tokyo, and the vast majority of them deliver a solid replication of what one could find in Great Britain...well, given that it is several thousand miles away from the island. The Aldgate, like many, nails the decor and atmosphere...though the selection of music at their fingertips is better than most...but this Shibuya hangout offers a formidable beer selection to go with the vibe.

They feature 13 regular brews, ranging from expected fare such as Guinness to rarer English creations to Japanese craft creations from all over the country. On top of that, The Aldgate also stocks a rotating selection of guest beers, both domestic and international. The decorations and food offerings might be predictably pub, but the drinks are anything but. The Aldgate is also a great place to catch international sports, whether it be soccer, rugby or something else.
