The Miyazaki Science Center is a fun activity for rainy days! And even, if it's not raining, it is a great place for kids to learn and have fun with science. It is a highly interactive museum, especially enjoyable for children. You'll find countless buttons to push, levers to pull and reactions to watch. Even I learned something new about our environment!
The coolest part is the planetarium. If you decide to visit the planetarium, you can choose from three different films. These are shown after the planetary lesson at various times of the day. Each show takes about 50 minutes, and the showtimes are 11 am, 1:30 pm, and 3 pm on weekdays, and 11 am, 1:10, 2:20, and 3:30 on Sundays and holidays.
One important thing to note about the Miyazaki Science Center is that everything here is in Japanese.
