Goju-no-To Pagoda 五重塔

This five-story pagoda was built in 1407 and stands 27,6 meters high. The tower mixes Japanese and Chinese architecture.

This beautiful pagoda sits on top of a hill over looking Miyajima shrine and is a great spot for photos.

You can see Goju-no-To the second you get off the boat to miyajima, most are drawn to it.. and for good reason!

A pagoda that can be seen from many places around town. It's right in front of Senjokaku, which is definitely worth a visit.
