Splendid view from the top of the castle! There are some small staircases you have to maneuver around when going up the castle so be aware of that. But apart from that, amazing castle!
Kochi Castle is one of only 12 castles in Japan with an original keep. This means that it has survived fires, bombings, time and whatever else has destroyed most castles in Japan. It's a good option for those who want to see an original castle with fewer tourists than the ones on the mainland.
Pleasant spot to visit, just be aware last admission is 4.30 with closure at 5pm so if you head there later in the day you may have limited time to look around!
