One recommended record hub for vinyl fans is Disk Union’s Jazz and Rare Groove store in Shibuya, a place hard to find but worth the discovery. Make your way down the stairs to the basement and you’ll be surprised to find a space loaded with carefully preserved records of these genres. A tradesman on his break sifts through the piles of records and a salaryman in a business suit listens to a track while our host Ocky flicks through the records at a professional pace.
