Koraku-en Garden 後楽園
Built in 1700 by Ikeda Tsunamasa, this traditional Japanese garden is the most popular site in Okayama and famous for its view of Okayama Castle. Along with Kenroku-en Garden and Kairaku-en Garden, it is one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan. Koraku-en Garden was designed in the Kaiyu-style, a scenic promenade style which gives the visitor a new view at every turn of the path.

Quite a big garden, worth spending a few hours wandering, lots of sakura (cherry blossoms) trees. Over weekend/holidays, you may see couples taking wedding photos (in traditional kimono)/holding their wedding ceremony
Best garden in Japan, without a doubt. The garden grounds are huge! It takes a good while to get around the whole garden, I suggest going in early to avoid the crowds and give ya enough time to move at your own pace.
